Designed and built by ENGIE Solutions with the help of local partners, this new largescale biomass boiler will utilize renewable and local energy: biomass. 75% of this biomass will come from within a 100 km area, contributing to the dynamism of the Hauts-de-France sector.
This long-term investment project benefits from ADEME’s support fund as part of the France Relance plan and the BCIAT Biomass Heat Industry Agriculture and Tertiary program.
Key figures:
– 85% renewable energy in the long term (compared to 63% currently)
– 26,000 tons of CO2 avoided per year (compared to 15,000 currently)
– 75% of the wood-energy used sourced within area of less than 100 km.
